Repeat Prescriptions

prescriptionspurpleThe doctor will decide whether your medication should be available to you on a repeat basis or not. When a prescription is issued as a repeat, it will have two parts. The left –hand side is the actual prescription which you must take to the chemist (this is coloured green), the right-hand side is detachable and lists those medications that are available for repeat prescribing. It helps us if you can use this slip when ordering your next supply of medication.

This Practice will only accept requests for repeat medication in writing. (please see next paragraph). Requests received each day before 11.30am will be ready for collection from the surgery the next afternoon after 3.00pm. If you choose to have your prescription sent to the chemist in Kelvedon, Coggeshall or Marks Tey then please allow an extra day for the pharmacy to make up the prescription. Please remember to tell us where you will be collecting from when you leave the request.

To order repeat medication please either tick the required medication using the repeat slip or write what you need on any piece of paper together with your name. Your request can be handed in at reception or posted in the designated box at reception, posted to us with a stamped addressed envelope for its return, or it can be faxed. We do not accept prescription requests over the telephone.
